Raised on a Murray Grey and Merino grazing property in the New England region, Amanda has a strong connection to rural communities and agriculture. After relocating to the Upper Hunter in 2009 to raise her family, she has developed deep local knowledge and community connections.

Her career includes 12 years with Eastern Airlines/QantasLink, working across Tamworth, Sydney, and Brisbane in finance and marketing roles, followed by 16 years at Scone Grammar School in finance and as Registrar. She also holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Newcastle and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from the University of New England. This background has provided her with strong skills in financial management, administration, and client service.

Amanda joined McGrath Upper Hunter in October 2025 and is enjoying applying her professional expertise and rural background to the real estate industry, supporting clients with professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of the region.
