About Terry Naug

With more than 30 years of experience in real estate, Terry brings a depth of knowledge, professionalism and calm confidence to every property transaction. Having worked across a wide range of market conditions and property types, including residential, commercial, industrial and rural real estate, he understands the importance of providing clear, considered advice throughout what can often be a significant and emotional decision.

For Terry, real estate is ultimately about people. He takes great satisfaction in helping clients navigate the sale or purchase of what is often their most important asset and being part of a decision that can have a lasting impact on their lives. His approach is centred on building long-term relationships rather than focusing on a single transaction. Around 90% of his business has historically come from repeat clients and referrals, reflecting the trust he builds and the level of service he provides.

After relocating to Iluka, Terry was drawn to the unique lifestyle of the Clarence Valley, where pristine beaches, rainforest and abundant native wildlife are all close at hand. He is actively involved in the local community as a volunteer with St Mary’s Catholic Parish, covering Iluka, Maclean and Yamba.

Terry joined McGrath for its fresh and progressive approach to real estate in the local market, combined with the strength and reputation of one of Australia’s most recognised property brands.

Outside of real estate, Terry has a lifelong passion for sailing. He turned that passion into a side business more than 20 years ago and has been teaching people to sail since 2006. He also has a keen interest in wine, particularly Old World wines, and hopes to one day try his hand at winemaking in retirement.
