The Victorian Government has announced that lockdown restrictions will be eased in metropolitan Melbourne from 11.59pm 10 June, and further eased in regional Victoria.

 

In support of this announcement, we want to assure you we are proactively working to adhere to the restrictions in place by the Victorian State Government so that together, we all play a part in helping control the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

 

Detailed below is a summary of how we’re working during the current COVID-19 lockdown in Metro Melbourne and Regional Victoria. For more general information about Victoria's COVIDSafe Settings click here

 

Property Inspections  

Greater Melbourne

Inspections permitted to a maximum of 10 people, subject to density quotient of 1 person per 4sqm applies. In addition prospective buyers and renters can view homes via virtual inspection.

 

Residents of Metro Melbourne are not permitted to visit Regional Victoria for inspections or auctions.
 

Regional Victoria

Property inspections can resume from 11.59pm Thursday 3 June with crowds capped at 50 people. However, all activities will be subject to density limits of 1 person per 4 sqm.

Property Auctions

Greater Melbourne

Live auctions can resume with a capacity limit of 50 at auctions and opens, subject to density limits of 1 person per 4 sqm.

 

In addition, our auctions across greater Melbourne are also available on our online auction platform. 

 

McGrath clients have the opportunity to watch, register, bid, buy and exchange on live property auctions. This service will ensure bidders can still participate and bid at an auction remotely. 

 

Regional Victoria

Live auctions can resume from 11.59pm Thursday 3 June with a capacity limit of 50 at auctions and opens, subject to density limits of 1 person per 4 sqm.
