Cass O’Connor has been involved in the public and private markets for over 30 years, as an equity research analyst, investment banker (Turnbull and Partners, Goldman Sachs (Australia) LLC and Carnegie Wylie and Company), private equity investor and board director. Having been a non-executive director of McGrath Operations since August 2000, Cass was appointed Chair of the Board of McGrath Limited in August 2016 and is Chair of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee. Cass is currently a non-executive director of ASX Listed Prime Media Group Limited and unlisted Goalpost Pictures Pty Ltd, and Carriageworks. Cass holds a Bachelor of Business from UTS and is a GAICD.
Elizabeth Crouch, an experienced and highly regarded non-executive director with ASX listed companies, was appointed to the McGrath Board in August 2016 and is Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee. Elizabeth spent 16 years with the Federal government before moving to the private sector where she held various positions, including the role of Chief Executive of the Housing Industry of Australia for nine years. Elizabeth is currently Chair of the Audit and Risk committees of the City of Sydney, the Office of Environment and Heritage, and Railcorp, Deputy Chancellor of Macquarie University, and non-executive director of Macquarie University Hospital and SGS Economics and Planning. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Economics and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Nigel Dews was appointed to the McGrath Board in November 2016. His professional experience encompasses more than 15 years in corporate leadership roles, often leading high-growth start-ups, as well as eight years in strategy consulting. He has been a leader in the digital media and telecommunications industries in Australia, as CEO of Vodafone Hutchison Australia and 3 Mobile, and as Chief Executive of the Fairfax Media digital business. Nigel completed an MBA with Distinction from London Business School after working in the Reserve Bank of Australia research department. He then spent five years with McKinsey & Company’s Sydney, New York and London offices in financial services and telecommunications. He is also a Chief Executive Officer of Message Media Group.
John McGrath is one of the most influential figures in the Australian property industry. He took the company from a lounge room start-up in 1988 to be one of Australia's most successful integrated real estate service groups. In 2008, John was honoured by the Real Estate Institute of NSW with the Woodrow Weight OBE Award, a lifetime achievement award for his outstanding contribution to the real estate industry. John also is a best-selling author, has been a director of REA Group since 1999 and a member of their HR Committee, and also sits on the Board of the South Sydney "Rabbitohs".
Cath Rogers was appointed to the McGrath Board in November 2016. She brings more than 15 years of global experience in venture capital and private equity, investment banking, strategy consulting and technology ventures with firms including AirTree Ventures, Credit Suisse, The World Bank, Accenture, ABN Amro and Anchorage Capital Partners. She also serves as a Director of the Heart Research Institute and Heads Over Heels. Cath holds an MBA from INSEAD in France, a Bachelor of Commerce from UNSW and is a Chartered Financial Analyst and GAICD.
Cameron was appointed Chief Executive Officer of McGrath Limited in August 2016. Cameron is a highly experienced and respected senior executive with a proven track record leading, transforming and growing businesses. In Cameron’s most recent role as CEO of Chandler MacLeod Group Limited, as an ASX listed $1.4 billion revenue company, he led the strategy development, transformation, diversification and growth of the business to create one of the leading HR services organisations in Australasia. Cameron holds an MBA and is a values-based leader. He believes the key to success in any business is aligning strategy, leadership, culture and talent to deliver real results.
Glynn joined McGrath Limited as Chief Financial Officer in October 2017, with over 20 years experience in strategy, finance and transformation for Australian listed and unlisted companies as well as multinational organisations. Prior to joining McGrath, Glynn was Chief Financial Officer of BB Retail Capital-owned Bras N Things and before that, he was Head of Finance Transformation for Woolworths Limited. Glynn is a qualified Chartered Accountant, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (South Africa) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (USA).
Morgan has worked for listed companies both in Australia and internationally at the senior executive level, and joined McGrath Limited in August 2016, bringing a wealth of professional and operational experience. He is a highly respected lawyer with in-house and private practice experience, delivering commercial insight, and operational and technical expertise, in negotiations and contracting, M&A, intellectual property, human capital, and risk and governance. Morgan holds a Masters of Law and Management from UNSW.
Kon was appointed Head of Company Sales for McGrath Limited in October 2016. He joined the company in 2014 as Sales Manager for Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs office, moving into the role of NSW General Manager Sales in 2015. Kon has a wealth of management experience, having spent 15 years with French-owned Neopost, ultimately as Group Sales Manager for its Australian operations, managing revenue and profit, with an added focus on culture, strategy, training and recruitment. As Head of Company Sales, Kon oversees the performance of all company owned offices located in both QLD and NSW and leads a team of over 300 sales professionals.
Christopher returned to McGrath Limited in June 2017 as Head of Franchise Network, bringing with him extensive knowledge and experience in the real estate industry spanning 30 years. Formerly Head of Real Estate for LJ Hooker, Christopher was responsible for over 500 offices nationally. Prior to that he spent over seven years at McGrath in various senior roles with both the franchise and company owned sales divisions, as well as being an accomplished auctioneer. Christopher is a Director of the Real Estate Institute of Australia.
Annette joined McGrath Limited as CIO in December 2015. As a strategically focused Technology and Business Transformation leader, influencing and driving sustainable change across Financial Services & Telecommunications sectors for over 15 years, Annette has successfully implemented a number of market leading, multi-channel programs in the UK and Australia, with a focus in Digital, CRM and Marketing Automation. Annette is passionate about empowering our customers and people through technology. Her skills and experience are invaluable to McGrath with its focus on innovation for the real estate industry.
Alan has an extensive background in the banking and finance sector with a strong focus on third party business and a detailed knowledge of the credit and mortgage market. As General Manager of Oxygen Home Loans since February 2013, Alan’s focus is to work with the Oxygen broker team to ensure their continued product knowledge, success and that they provide the same “six-star service” that is synonymous with McGrath.
Michael is one of Australia’s most respected experts in Property Management with over 28 years’ experience in residential, commercial and business management. Michael has had extensive leadership experience, including roles as State Manager of multi-billion dollar asset portfolios. Michael was General Manager of McGrath Property Management from 2002-2005, and returned in 2010 as Head of Network Property Management. Michael fulfils a strategic role in developing the vision for customer focused service for our clients throughout the McGrath residential asset management network.
Olivia is a highly experienced marketing executive with over 11 years’ experience across industry-leading television, print and digital brands. With an intrinsic understanding of advertising strategy and consumer marketing, Olivia joined Network Ten in 2012 to lead marketing across the business spearheading a strategy that resulted in market share growth for the company. She has extensive experience in leading teams and managing multiple external stakeholders, to implement results driven marketing strategies. Olivia joined McGrath in July 2016 and has a Bachelor of Communications.
Scott’s skill and dedication have not only achieved outstanding sales results for McGrath since he joined the company in 1997 but have garnered him many awards and accolades including Australia’s highest distinction in real estate auction terms, Australasian Auctioneer of the Year 2006. As Chief Auctioneer of McGrath Estate Agents, Scott draws from his knowledge and years of experience to lead a team of talented and professional auctioneers.
Adrian was appointed to General Manager of Strategic Partnerships for McGrath Limited in April 2017. Adrian has significant industry experience comprising sales management, strategic business planning and marketing strategy. In 2008 he founded Sydney CBD based Wilson Property Agents. Within six years, the business achieved several high-profile industry accolades including REINSW Agency of the Year in 2009 and 2014, and was listed in the BRW Fast 100 list of fastest growing Australian companies for two consecutive years. Adrian provides unique insight and expertise in building strategic partnerships.
