Peter was appointed Chair of the Board of McGrath Limited in February 2018. Peter is currently a non-executive director of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and Chair of their Audit and Risk Committee; and an advisory board member of Anacacia Capital and Gravity Media Group Ltd. Peter previously worked as Chief Financial Officer for the Seven Group of companies for 15 years. Peter holds a Master of Commerce (UNSW) and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
Andrew was appointed to the McGrath Board in February 2018 and is Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee. Andrew established his legal practice in 1982 with specialisations in tax disputes, corporate re-constructions, franchising and commercial negotiation. Prior to that he had a background in litigation and commercial law at Freehill Hollingdale and Page. Andrew has had extensive involvement in the property sector over many years as both an advisor and a principal, and has been a long term supporter of various not for profit and charity groups, including Tour de Cure and The Mater/St Vincent’s Hospitals. He holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws (University of Sydney).
John McGrath is one of the most influential figures in the Australian property industry. He took the company from a lounge room start-up in 1988 to be one of Australia's most successful integrated real estate service groups. In 2008, John was honoured by the Real Estate Institute of NSW with the Woodrow Weight OBE Award, a lifetime achievement award for his outstanding contribution to the real estate industry. John was a founding director of the REA Group and served on its board from 1999 to January 2018, and Chairman from 2003 – 2007.
Geoff rejoined McGrath Limited as Chief Executive Officer in February 2018. Previously Geoff was Chief Operating Officer of McGrath for eight years from 2008-2016, where he was instrumental in driving the company’s growth across the Eastern Seaboard. His most recent position was Chief Operating Officer of Sonoma Bakery Group. A focused leader specialising in developing and executing growth strategies for companies and developing strong leadership teams, Geoff holds a Bachelor of Commerce (double major Accounting and Finance (Bond University); and is a Fellow of AICD.
Glynn joined McGrath Limited as Chief Financial Officer in October 2017, with over 20 years’ experience in strategy, finance and transformation for Australian listed and unlisted companies as well as multinational organisations. Prior to joining McGrath, Glynn was Chief Financial Officer of BB Retail Capital-owned Bras N Things and before that, he was Head of Finance Transformation for Woolworths Limited. Glynn is a qualified Chartered Accountant, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (South Africa) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (USA).
Kon was appointed Head of Company Sales for McGrath Limited in October 2016. He joined the company in 2014 as Sales Manager for Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs office, moving into the role of NSW General Manager Sales in 2015. Kon has a wealth of management experience, having spent 15 years with French-owned Neopost, ultimately as Group Sales Manager for its Australian operations, managing revenue and profit, with an added focus on culture, strategy, training and recruitment. As Head of Company Sales, Kon oversees the performance of all company owned offices located in both QLD and NSW and leads a team of over 300 sales professionals.
Adrian started his career with McGrath in 1994 as a Sales Agent in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs and is the company’s longest serving team member. In February 2018 he was appointed General Manager of Company Owned Sales. Adrian has a wealth of real estate knowledge with experience in residential and commercial sales and real estate training, and has sold over $3.7 Billion in residential property. In this newly established role, Adrian is responsible for sales management accountability and training, agent coaching and company owned sales strategy and performance. He holds an MBA from Charles Sturt University.
Christopher returned to McGrath Limited in June 2017 as Head of Franchise Network, bringing with him an extensive experience in the real estate industry spanning 30 years. Formerly Head of Real Estate for LJ Hooker, Christopher was responsible for over 500 offices nationally. Prior to that he spent over seven years at McGrath in various senior roles with both the franchise and company owned sales divisions, as well as being an accomplished auctioneer. Christopher is a Director of the Real Estate Institute of Australia.
Alan has an extensive background in the banking and finance sector with a strong focus on third party business and a detailed knowledge of the credit and mortgage market. As General Manager of Oxygen Home Loans since February 2013, Alan’s focus is to work with the Oxygen broker team to ensure their continued product knowledge, success and that they provide the same “six-star service” that is synonymous with McGrath.
Michael is one of Australia’s most respected experts in Property Management with over 28 years’ experience in residential, commercial and business management. Michael has had extensive leadership experience, including roles as State Manager of multi-billion dollar asset portfolios. Michael was General Manager of McGrath Property Management from 2002-2005, and returned in 2010 as Head of Network Property Management. Michael fulfils a strategic role in developing the vision for customer focused service for our clients throughout the McGrath residential asset management network.
Rob was appointed Head of Company Owned Property Management for McGrath Limited in September 2017. Rob has 14 years of extensive operational, financial management and strategic experience. He previously worked as the General Manager of Staples, where he led a $250 million dollar business unit, implementing hyper growth strategies in the group’s Facility Solutions division across Australia and New Zealand. At McGrath, Rob is responsible for overseeing the company owned property management business across NSW and QLD. Rob holds an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
Adrian was appointed to General Manager of Strategic Partnerships for McGrath Limited in April 2017. Adrian has significant industry experience comprising sales management, strategic business planning and marketing strategy. In 2008 he founded Sydney CBD based Wilson Property Agents. Within six years, the business achieved several high-profile industry accolades including REINSW Agency of the Year in 2009 and 2014, and was listed in the BRW Fast 100 list of fastest growing Australian companies for two consecutive years. Adrian provides unique insight and expertise in building strategic partnerships.
Scott’s skill and dedication have not only achieved outstanding sales results for McGrath since he joined the company in 1997 but have garnered him many awards and accolades including Australia’s highest distinction in real estate auction terms, Australasian Auctioneer of the Year 2006. As Chief Auctioneer of McGrath Estate Agents, Scott draws from his knowledge and years of experience to lead a team of talented and professional auctioneers.
