SYDNEY
Why live in SYDNEY?
Sydney’s CBD is the financial heart of Australia, but don’t let that put you off – it’s also a very nice place to live.

Amongst the skyscrapers, Sydney-the-suburb has fine parks, superb restaurants, and excellent amenities, all within walking distance of one of the finest harbours in the world.
A healthy lifestyle
The City has some very good facilities for keeping fit and healthy.

If you like to swim, there’s the aquatic centre in Cook + Philip Park . Just out the door, you can replenish your carbohydrates with Bodhi’s fresh vegetarian cuisine.

There’s also a wide range of commercial gyms, including The Health Club in Martin Place and two gyms run by Fitness First.
If you have children...
Some of the Australia’s finest private schools are within the 2000 postcode:

  • Sydney Grammar School,

  • SCEGGS Darlinghurst,
  • and
  • James Ruse Agricultural High School

Fort Street Public School is a good choice for children in grades K-6.

For older students, good public transport in and out of the CBD makes commuting to many other fine school easy.

    Eating out
It’s impossible to run out of restaurants when you’re living in the CBD.
