Serving all suburbs throughout the Belconnen and Gungahlin region and surrounding areas, our sales and property management teams provide clients with extensive local knowledge and expertise in all facets of buying, selling and renting in Australia’s capital.

area profile

Boasting stunning native flora and fauna, the Australian capital city of Canberra is set against a landscape that epitomises the extreme variety and beauty of Australia’s natural landscape. With classic Australian summer weather in the hotter months and the signature chill in winter, Canberra is renowned for producing a wide spectrum of seasons that are enjoyed during festivals such as Floriade in Spring, and the Multicultural festival in Summer.

Situated 10 kilometres north of Canberra’s city centre, Gungahlin is the northernmost town centre of Canberra’s five satellite cities, which include Woden, Tuggeranong, Weston Creek and Belconnen. Currently, Gungahlin is made up of 11 suburbs, including three of Canberra’s newest residential developments and a further seven suburbs planned for development.

The Aborginal meaning of Gungahlin ‘Little Rocky Hill’ reflects the beautiful terrain of the area, with stunning mountainous views surrounding Gungahlin’s collection of suburbs. Historically housing farming communities, the area’s new residential neighborhoods and growing shopping district offer young professionals in Canberra a stylish and affordable place to settle, with seven primary schools, two colleges and Westfield Belconnen attracting families and mature-aged locals.

Nearby, Belconnen’s collection of high schools and tertiary education facilities such as the University of Canberra has created a northern residential haven for families and students in Canberra, connected by a quick 10-minute drive to the city centre and the Australian National University (ANU). The well-loved Lake Ginninderra offers both Gungahlin and Belconnen residents a popular picnic and walking spot with beautiful lakeside views, and provides a natural escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
