My husband and I recently sold our house with Troy McNeice of McGrath Thirroul. We entered the process of selling our home of twenty-two years with great trepidation but ended with a newfound confidence in the real estate industry. Troy’s proposed marketing campaign challenged the sales strategies of the more traditional real estate organisations in the Illawarra by placing an emphasis on what initially appeared to be expensive advertising. This might have deterred us but for Troy’s convincing rationale and the quality McGrath brand, which has dominated the Sydney market since the 1990s. We made the decision to take a leap of faith by making the financial investment, and it paid off because we achieved a terrific price for our property in a difficult market.

At a more personal level, Troy deserves to be congratulated for his mammoth effort throughout the campaign. Put simply, he was thorough in every respect. Troy returned all phone calls immediately, responded to a long list of questions patiently, and gave advice thoughtfully. Even on his days off, Troy received phone calls with a sensitivity and sense of humour befitting the best agents in the business. Whilst he was working hard to secure the ultimate outcome for us, Troy never compromised his values and, at all times, operated ethically. For this reason alone, we were impressed and very grateful. The positive attitude he demonstrated gave us confidence and helped us to relax throughout the marketing, open house and negotiation phases.

The level of service Troy provided following the exchange of contracts was stunning. He had nothing to gain financially once our house was sold but continued to offer guidance as we set out to purchase a new property.
