We recently relocated from Brisbane to the Lake Macquarie region, and purchased a house that was listed through McGrath at Warners Bay. We met the agent, Neil Fry, at open houses for this property, as well as other properties that he had listed. It was quite refreshing to deal with an agent who, whilst clearly working in the best interests of his vendor, was also able to recognise that the buyer is also a customer. He also respected the fact that we had some understanding of the market into which we were buying – certainly not the case with some other agents.
When the little ‘snags’ arose during the buying process (eg delays with vendor solicitors, problems with the tenants in the property) Neil kept us informed in a professional, honest way – again recognising that, as buyers, we don’t need circumstances to seem more stressful than they are. He also referred us to other professionals, such as conveyancing and building inspectors, and these parties were also very, very good. We first met Neil when he showed us the house in Floraville, which we ended up buying.
Even though he was not the actual agent handling the property (who was away that day), he was very professional and attentive, but importantly for us, not pushy.

We have just successfully completed the sale of our apartment in Belmont, NSW with the aid of your company.
I had never heard of your agency until I was pointed to Neil Fry, one of your sales agents at Warners Bay. I was given his name independently by two different acquaintances who expressed great confidence in his sales ability, and most of all, his honesty and integrity.
Having dealt with many real estate agents in my past, I felt that this was a most unusual description and contacted him to sum up what he offered to a seller.
His approach was courteous, firm, and informative and gave a great feeling of security in what your firm offered me. He offered a presentation and coverage, far beyond any other agent and we immediately had the trust in him to give him exclusive rights to the sale. As we were anxious to sell, our next home was ready to buy and time was of the essence.
