Since entering real estate eight years ago, Cameron has been awarded the REIACT Rookie of the Year award in 2005 and was a finalist in the REI Australia Awards 2005 for Achievement.
As a licensed agent and auctioneer, Cameron Whitnall brings a wealth of industry experience to the McGrath ACT office in Woden. Cameron worked for many years in the building industry prior to making a successful move into real estate in 2003 and this provides him with valuable insight into the intricacies of the market. His intimate knowledge of the local area and overall pricing trends ensures a distinct edge when it comes to representing the sale or purchase of a client’s most valued asset.
Cameron is a passionate advocate of Canberra’s south and regards its mountain views and proximity to schools, shopping centres and transport as among the region’s most desirable attributes. The diversity of housing in the area sees him dealing with a broad range of people and this is one of the things he particularly enjoys about the industry. Cameron is exceptional at creating strategies to make the transaction as smooth as possible and to achieve the best possible outcome. He loves the excitement generated by auctions, which he conducts regularly for charities, and is also on the Board of an organisation supporting emerging artists in the local community.
Cameron has a strong work ethic which is reflected in every aspect of his professional life. He makes himself available to clients seven days a week and believes keeping clients informed at all times facilitates a successful outcome.
When Cameron learned McGrath was opening a new office in Canberra, he knew immediately that he wanted to become part of the expansion of the network. He regards them as an industry leader and their six star service philosophy fits with his own personal commitment to sales excellence and customer satisfaction.

"Following the successful sale of our home, we would like to take this opportunity to pass on our thanks for the final outcome, which was achieved by an Auction sale. From the time we decided to approach Cameron, which we decided to do by our own observation of good exposure in our area, combined with well presented advertising exposure. From our first enquiry, we were spoken to and quickly met by Cameron Whitnall, who then presented us with all of the information available regarding the method of sale with the offices financial costs and fees. We decided on the Auction sale, and gave Cameron the go ahead to proceed accordingly. From this time on, Cameron showed great dedication, professional skill and accessibility. Together with the formulated advice, brochures etc he worked together with Peggy and myself through out the entire process. We were also very impressed with the presentation on the actual day of the Auction Sale and would like to congratulate every member of the team that attended the sale. We would like to congratulate Cameron for all of his professional and courteous efforts and would not hesitate to recommend them to any further seller or buyer.”

"On behalf of my wife and I, I wanted to write to you regarding our experience with Cameron Whitnall in purchasing a house. We found Cameron to be terrific people to deal with. He was responsive to queries, helped with advice (including on trades people), kept us up to date on progress, called us back and also opened the house just for us on Sundays and public holidays, and generally took a "can do" approach to the all the arrangements. We found him to be a breath of fresh air, as a very normal and decent person to deal with. Our experience has been that agents in Canberra do not always share these qualities. We told all this to Cameron, even before we had bought the property, because we felt lucky to be dealing with him.”
