A Central Coast resident since 2004, Andrew McCoy entered the real estate industry in 2007, bringing with him a lengthy career in hospitality and customer service.

He started as a trainee learning the business from the ground up, before later progressing to sales. It was here that Andrew found his niche, translating his people skills into helping home owners and buyers understand the sales process and, in turn, negotiating the best result for them.

Andrew fondly recalls the first sale he was involved with, saying, “Taking part in that first sale, I got to see the vulnerability and emotions that people go through in that time and the positive impact a good agent’s professional reassurance can have on the vendor’s and buyer’s experience. “To know that I’m doing all that I can for the parties involved is what I love about real estate,” Andrew explained.

Impressed by McGrath’s polished brand and sophisticated advertising campaigns, Andrew’s decision to join was simple and something he considered a strategic career move. Though, it was the training and support offered by McGrath that most impressed him.

“I’ve worked with other agencies before, but the ongoing training and support I’ve received from within McGrath has been phenomenal,” He continued. “I love that everyone in the office contributes to each other’s industry understanding and improved growth as an agent.”

In his spare time, Andrew is an avid Geelong Cats supporter with a real love of the outdoors and staying active. Whether he’s travelling throughout Europe – something he plans to do time and time again, or going for a run, catching up with family and friends or venturing to Sydney for the city life – so long as he’s on the move, he’s happy.



I would sincerely like to thank you for your total commitment to ensure my home at 3 The Postern, Umina Beach was sold. I was ecstatic that you were successful in selling the property prior to the proposed auction date. I believe you negotiated well on my behalf. Perhaps we didn’t quite reach the price I had hoped, however, in this climate it is a buyer’s market with the values of properties not as buoyant as previous years.
 
You have always been extremely helpful and efficient, totally approachable and open on all levels of discussion. You have always emphasised that you are there to be of service to me, even to the point of you forsaking your Sundays to accommodate the needs of prospective buyers wishing to view the property. Nothing was ever too much trouble. 
I have appreciated your weekly feedback meetings and the coffee that went with them. I also noted that you were always generous with your time at the ‘Open Home’, arriving well in advance of the designated time to set things up and available to spend extra time to ensure the last viewers are not hurried out. 
In my opinion you went beyond the ‘call of duty’ last Friday when you drove from Ettalong to Parramatta to ensure the timely exchange of the contract. That is commitment - not only to me, but also to the purchaser, who wished the exchange to take place ahead of auction day.
